Job summary

Stewart Title of California, Inc. seeks an experienced escrow specialist to provide premier settlement services for residential and commercial transactions in San Francisco. You will manage escrow accounts, coordinate closings, and ensure compliance with company policies.

With 8+ years in escrow or related roles, you will act as a neutral liaison among parties, improve processes, mentor teammates, and communicate complex information clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Typically requires 8+ years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle real estate transactions by establishing new escrow accounts, managing funds, processing documents for closings, and completing settlements in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Act as a neutral liaison between file parties, adhere to company policy, and monitor and mitigate risk to the company.
• Recommend improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve efficiency.
• Provide subject‑matter guidance to team members and may allocate work.
• Impact the results of own team and the effectiveness of related teams.
• Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent.
• Exercise judgment based on previous experiences, practices and precedents.
• Evaluate and communicate complex information in a clear, concise manner.
• Exchange ideas and information effectively.
• Work autonomously within established procedures and practices.
• Act as a lead, coordinating the work of others without being a direct supervisor.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Job Summary

Provides escrow services for residential and commercial resale, new construction, refinance, relocation and timeshare transactions. Responsible for facilitating real estate transactions by providing a high level of customer service and proactive communication to both internal and external stakeholders throughout the closing process.

Pay Range & Benefits

Pay Range: $56,750.36 – $94,583.93 annually. The base salary range is a guide and actual offers will be based on the individual candidate’s qualifications, location, market conditions and other compensation components.
