Job summary

Sprout, a global IT hardware retirement provider, seeks a Business Systems Analyst to bridge operations and technology on the SmartERP platform. You will translate on-the-floor processes into system requirements and configure business rules end-to-end.

You will spend time onsite with warehouse, engineering, and logistics teams, own validation, testing, and documentation, and become a go-to expert for Sprout's core systems as processes evolve.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a business systems analyst, applications analyst, or similar role bridging technology and operations.
• Hands-on experience with ERP or operational systems in aftermarket services, reverse logistics, repair and refurbishment, or manufacturing.
• A background in applications development and ability to discuss data models, APIs, and system design with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with operations onsite to understand processes and translate issues into concrete requirements.
• Develop business and functional requirements grounded in how the software works to guide engineering design.
• Evaluate requirements for impact, completeness, and accuracy across workflows and reporting.
• Implement and support configuration for routing, mapping, and workflow rules.
• Specify integration requirements and data mappings between SmartERP and partner/internal systems.
• Analyze data using SQL and BI tools to investigate issues and validate changes.
• Support testing and rollout by detailing test cases and coordinating UAT.
• Document workflows and system behavior to enable informed decision-making.
