Job summary

Apex Systems in Richmond, Virginia seeks an ERP Platform Developer to design, build, and maintain integrations connecting Workday and Ariba with internal and external systems. You will use Workday Studio, Connectors, EIBs, Web Services, and Orchestrate to enable reliable data flows.

This role supports the transition to SAP Ariba BTP, guiding cloud integration and API strategy, while contributing to an established ERP environment and shaping next-level platform evolution.

Qualifications

• Expertise in web service/API technologies: WSDL, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, XSLT
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, Groovy, etc.)
• Experience with integration design and development for Cloud-based platforms
• 3-5 years of Workday integration development experience and/or 3-5 years of Ariba integration development experience

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain integrations between Workday/Ariba and external systems
• Develop and maintain custom Workday Extend applications
• Support integrations across Workday HCM, Payroll, Financials, and SAP Ariba
• Build and optimize Ariba master and transactional data integrations
• Collaborate with IT teams to deploy and monitor integrations
• Contribute to SAP Ariba BTP transition initiatives
• Apply software engineering principles to integration lifecycle management
• Provide on-call support and troubleshooting for integration environments
