Job summary

Lone Star College is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to design and maintain complex business systems, acting as the ERP SME for Veteran Services, Organizational Development, and the Office of Technology Services. You will manage data integrity, develop reports, and drive process improvements across departments.

Responsibilities include leading query development, batch process testing, and dashboard creation (Power BI).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; five+ years related experience preferred.
• Master's degree and seven+ years experience preferred.
• Experience in higher education IT/Business Analysis is a plus.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and functional specs.

Responsibilities

• Designs, maintains, and optimizes business systems and application processes.
• Serves as ERP subject matter expert and primary data liaison with Veterans Services, Organizational Development, and OTS.
• Develops and tests batch processes and functional requirements; supports ERP security design.
• Creates ad hoc reports and data extractions to support regulatory reporting and audits.
• Leads query development for routine operations and KPI reporting.
• Collaborates with departments to improve business processes and workflow efficiency.
• Produces dashboards and scorecards to track KPIs and funding-related reporting.
• Communicates with external agencies as needed and ensures compliance with regulations.
• Ensures accurate, timely reporting for Hazlewood/WEAMS/TA Portal and other reporting needs.
