Job summary

Houston Methodist Research Institute is seeking an ERP Senior Business Analyst to partner with operations, finance, and research stakeholders. You will optimize Workday and related enterprise systems to enhance financial management, reporting, and grant administration across the Research Institute.

The role requires five years of ERP analysis experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead multiple projects while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience in ERP business system analysis, requirement gathering and documentation.
• Strong English language skills for professional communication.
• Ability to lead and mentor teammates across projects.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to translate needs into actionable solutions.
• Expert problem solving, analytical and critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Takes a lead role in system implementations; utilizes leadership and project management to secure stakeholder buy-in.
• Provides training and mentoring for team members on new functionalities.
• Takes a lead role in triaging incidents and ensures issues are resolved by appropriate teams.
• Partners with customers and team members to translate complex business requirements into viable solutions; re-engineering workflows as needed.
• Acts as project manager for multiple projects and mentors junior analysts.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business or related field
