Job summary

PwC is seeking an IT Audit/SOX - Experienced Associate to support audit and assurance work focused on internal controls, compliance, and governance within our Advisory practice. You will learn from senior team members, adapt to scope changes, and develop skills in data interpretation and clear communication.

You will evaluate internal control activities, document flows, test design and operating effectiveness, and gather information to analyze facts and patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• CPA/CIA/CISA license preferred.
• Knowledge of internal controls and SOX testing desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support internal audit and SOX testing activities across financial reporting, controls documentation and compliance reviews.
• Review process narratives, risk and control matrices, and control design to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Test key controls, document results, and trace evidence to support control effectiveness conclusions.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify patterns, exceptions, and control breakdowns.
• Prepare workpapers and observations summarizing findings, root causes and actions.
