Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is seeking an experienced ERM professional to lead and support enterprise risk management initiatives across the Bank and System.

You will direct risk assessment, monitoring, internal controls over financial reporting, and business continuity, reporting to the Senior ERM Manager. Expect collaboration with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and governance groups in a four-day onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent related work experience and education is required.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in risk management.
• Other certifications a plus: Risk Management Certification, Risk Management Assurance, Project Management Professional, Certified Sarbanes-Oxley Professional, or Certified Fraud Examiner.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete risk management activities, including directing and implementing ERM strategies and operations to support adherence to the FR System ERM framework and BC framework.
• Independently drive end-to-end business continuity mitigation and preparedness activities including annual review and update of business impact assessments, planning and executing building exercises and facilitating table top exercises.
• Support end-to-end ERM operations including identifying, assessing, prioritizing, mitigating, monitoring, and reporting on enterprise-wide risks.
• Develop, implement, and maintain ERM policies, standards and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and objectives.
• Partner with all business areas to identify risks and monitor action plans through risk assessments and risk appetite statements.
• Enhance the Bank’s risk function by applying latest technologies and data analytics for best-in-class risk practices.
• Foster a culture of proactive risk management using three lines of defense across the Bank.
• Support Risk Management Council with risk reporting materials and communications to wider System and Bank groups.
• Assess internal controls related to financial reporting and present status to executives.
