HP is seeking a senior legal professional to provide expert ERISA and employee benefits guidance for its U.S. retirement, health, and welfare programs. You will serve as a principal advisor on fiduciary matters, design and governance of plans, and complex regulatory compliance across multiple stakeholders in HP’s Legal and Total Rewards teams.

Qualifications

J.D. required with active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
Experience advising on ERISA, employee benefits, fiduciary governance, and related tax matters.

Responsibilities

Acts as principal legal advisor to internal clients and fiduciary committees on ERISA, benefits, fiduciary governance, and related tax matters.
Provides strategic legal advice on design, governance, amendment, and termination of qualified retirement plans (e.g., 401(k), pension).
Advises on ERISA fiduciary duties, prohibited transactions, plan asset considerations, and prudent fiduciary processes.
