Vanguard seeks an experienced employee benefits attorney to join HR Legal Services. You will advise on U.S. and global employee benefits programs, including executive compensation, and collaborate with HR Global Total Rewards and Benefits leaders.

The role requires leadership, strong judgment and the ability to work with senior stakeholders. Candidates should have a JD, active bar membership, and at least 10 years of industry experience in ERISA and employee benefits law.

Qualifications

• JD with active bar membership required.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in law firms, industry, or government.
• Deep ERISA and U.S. employee benefits law knowledge required.

Responsabilités

• Provide employee benefits, tax and ERISA fiduciary counsel on U.S. and global programs.
• Coordinate non-US benefits law advice for international programs when needed.
• Educate HR clients on legal/tax considerations and litigation risks.
• Manage outside counsel work and billing.
