Job summary

Slavic group in Boca Raton, FL, seeks an experienced ERISA Attorney to guide the design, administration, and compliance of defined contribution plans (401(k), profit sharing, MEPs/PEPs).

This exempt, full-time role reports to Staff Attorney and includes drafting plan documents, overseeing testing and filings, vendor contract work, and fiduciary governance guidance.

Ideal candidate has a JD and 7–10 years in employee benefits law with 2+ years in leadership, plus strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of employee benefits law experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Experience advising on qualified defined contribution plans (401(k), profit-sharing).
• Experience with Form 5500 filings and fiduciary governance.

Responsibilities

• Advise on design, implementation, and ongoing administration of qualified defined contribution plans.
• Draft, review, and update plan documents and participant communications.
• Oversee regulatory compliance testing and Form 5500 filings.
• Negotiate service agreements with TPAs, recordkeepers, and vendors.
• Provide training on ERISA compliance and fiduciary duties.
