Job summary

Vistra Corporate Services Company is seeking an Employee Relations lead to manage ER functions, investigate issues, and drive policy interpretation and training across the organization.

The role partners with senior leaders and HR peers to ensure compliance, develop programs, and support labor and employment initiatives, including severance and OWBPA disclosures. Strong leadership and legal awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of ER and interview experience.
• Three or more years managing an HR/ER team and processes.
• Labor and employment law knowledge; awareness of HR trends.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, at all levels of the company.
• Occasional travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with state and federal agencies and directs ER activities to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Advises the Senior Leadership Team and HR peers in ER matters; provides training.
• Supports ER issues in the field with field HR personnel and ensures investigators are trained in ER procedures.
• Manages ER investigations, including Code of Conduct violations, and advises on corrective action and documentation.
• Prepares and presents ER compliance metrics to senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Develops and delivers employee compliance training (Civil Treatment, ADA, FMLA, and other workplace laws).
• Collaborates with HR and Leadership to implement trainings and programs enhancing engagement and culture.
• Interprets and updates HR policies and guides the HR team accordingly.
• Supports severance programs and prepares related documentation (OWBPA disclosures, adverse impact analyses).
