Job summary

JLL in the United States seeks an Employee Relations Consultant to assess and resolve employee issues while mitigating risk for the firm. You will partner with HR leaders, guide executive coaching, and drive ER initiatives across the US region.

This role emphasizes collaboration, policy application, and proactive training to support fair and equitable treatment of employees. The position focuses on reducing risk, improving perception gaps, and ensuring compliance with FMLA, EEO, and other laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Industrial or Labor Relations or related field (Post-graduate HR or Legal experience preferred).
• 5+ years of employee relations experience.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a collaborative coach, guiding HR colleagues and performance teams.
• Lead investigations of potential employment law violations, applying company policies.
• Advise senior executives and HR leaders on high-risk and complex matters in collaboration with legal.
• Develop training programs, tools, templates, processes, and reference materials for ER COE.
• Identify and resolve employee concerns with recommended actions and oversight.
• Analyze case trends to inform HR and business strategies.
• Maintain accurate investigation records and support data entry guidance.
