Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Relationship Manager in New York to oversee the equity compensation relationship within Wealth Management. You will partner with Directors and Managers of Stock Plan Administration, ensuring client satisfaction and optimal use of our offerings.

The role emphasizes strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of equity compensation, and coordination across internal and client teams to deliver superior service. Some travel may be required and licenses may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years in equity compensation or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of equity compensation programs and stock plans.
• Willingness to travel.
• FINRA Series 7, 63 or 66 or willingness to obtain within 180 days.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely responses to clients.
• Deliver regular business reviews with thought leadership and analytics.
• Maintain high level of personal interaction with clients.
• Monitor client satisfaction via benchmarks and RM check-ins.
• Promote efficiencies and best practices to improve service and execution.
• Align client requests with business needs while maintaining positive relationships.
• Coordinate new projects with clients and internal teams.
• Engage with Morgan Stanley service groups to ensure strong delivery of services.
• Communicate plan events and key issues to internal partners.
• Attend industry webcasts and Morgan Stanley education forums.
