Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an equipment technician to join a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing team that produces advanced semiconductor devices. You will collaborate with technicians and engineers to maintain equipment and support production in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities include following SOPs and OCAPs, performing PMs, and applying structured problem solving while communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical degree is preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Solid mechanical aptitude is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Implanters is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Practice 6S in the office and fab, with safety as the top priority.
• Follow SOPs, PTPs, and OCAPs to work safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance, including mechanical assembly/disassembly on fab equipment.
• Use structured problem solving to identify impactful solutions.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, leaders, and teammates.
• Work in a team on the cleanroom floor wearing full cleanroom smocks.
