Hall County seeks an Equipment Operator III in Gainesville, GA to operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, track hoes, loaders, and roll-off trucks at a skilled level.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety with PPE, performing routine equipment maintenance, and potentially training new staff. A CDL and a minimum of four years of related experience are required; positions are full-time and on-site at the Landfill.

Qualifications

• Four years combined Equipment Operator I or II experience required.
• Valid Class A or B Driver’s License with a satisfactory MVR.
• ADA: physical ability and on-call requirements.

Responsabilités

• Operate bulldozers, track hoes, and front-end loaders to cover trash.
• Operate Roll Off trucks to transport solid waste.
• Ensure safety through training and use of PPE.
• Operate mowing machines and related equipment to maintain grounds.
• Perform basic maintenance on all equipment and assist in training new staff.
