Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a diverse fleet including Aerial Work Platforms, pumps, HVAC, and other equipment. High school diploma or GED required, with 3–5 years’ diesel/heavy equipment experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnostics and repairs on equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
