Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Mechanic to join our safety-focused service team. This role performs preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a diverse fleet, from aerial work platforms to pumps and HVAC equipment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience. Bilingual abilities may be required depending on location. Comprehensive benefits and on-the-job training offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired
• 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment strongly preferred
• May need to provide mechanic’s tools of the trade
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting skills
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems & troubleshooting skills
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs
