Job summary

First Commonwealth Bank seeks a senior Equipment Finance Group Middle Market Sales Officer to develop and manage relationships with middle-market clients and bank partners. You will coordinate with portfolio, asset, and credit teams to create direct end-user financing opportunities.

The role requires a proven track record in equipment lease/loan sales, strategic territory management, and strong negotiation skills. Occasional travel and potential telecommuting are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Seven (7) years of demonstrated success selling equipment lease and loan products preferred.
• Demonstrated capability managing a large territory with multiple banking partners.
• Excellent verbal and email communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM software and prospecting databases preferred.
• Demonstrated strength in building and maintaining OEM, dealer and customer relationships.
• Understanding of lease and loan structures, contracts and concepts and ability to price transactions within risk/reward expectations.
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
• Effective problem solving and prioritization of multiple tasks, with initiative and independence.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel required.
• May be eligible for telecommuting.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional client service and upholds the Perfect Client Experience (PCE).
• Builds, nurtures, and expands relationships with clients, prospects, Bank Relationship Managers, and senior management.
• Develops and manages a designated territory with regular travel and industry events.
• Meets or exceeds sales goals with disciplined calling and personal accountability.
• Identifies customer needs and presents equipment finance solutions, including structured credit products.
• Knowledge of equipment financing structures, credit analysis, tax considerations, and essential equipment values.
• Manages large, complex corporate relationships with $30M+ revenue.
• Negotiates contracts and structures financing balancing client needs and risk.
• Uses CRM tools to build and maintain client/prospect database.
• Ensures accurate processing and submission of required documentation; assists in collections/remarketing.
• Trains Bank Relationship Managers on equipment finance products and opportunities.
• Promotes First Commonwealth Bank's reputation through professional client interactions.
