First Commonwealth Bank is seeking a senior Equipment Finance Group Middle Market Sales Officer in the United States to develop and manage relationships with middle‑market and commercial relationship managers and clients. You will coordinate with portfolio, asset, and credit teams to create new direct end‑user financing relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • Seven (7) years of demonstrated success selling equipment lease and loan products.
  • Experience managing a large territory with multiple banking partners.
  • Excellent verbal and email communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM software and prospecting databases preferred.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel; telecommuting may be eligible.

  • Delivers exceptional client service and upholds the Perfect Client Experience (PCE).
  • Builds, nurtures, and expands strong relationships with clients, prospects, Bank Relationship Managers, and senior management to drive referrals and sales.
  • Develops and manages a designated territory, including regular travel, field sales calls, market visits, and industry events.
  • Meets or exceeds sales goals, maintains a disciplined calling effort, and takes accountability for sales objectives.
  • Identifies customer needs and presents equipment finance solutions, including structuring credit products and establishing lines of credit.
  • Possesses strong knowledge of equipment financing structures, credit analysis, tax considerations, and essential equipment values.
  • Manages large and complex corporate relationships involving privately held companies with $30M+ in revenue.
  • Demonstrates effective contract negotiation skills and the ability to structure financing to balance client needs with risk management.
  • Utilizes CRM tools to build and maintain a database of clients and prospects.
  • Ensures accurate processing and submission of required documentation and assists in collections or remarketing when needed.
  • Trains Bank Relationship Managers on equipment finance products, processes, and opportunities.
  • Promotes First Commonwealth Bank’s reputation through professional, respectful client interactions.

The Equipment Finance Group Middle Market Sales Officer is a senior sales professional responsible for developing and managing relationships with First Commonwealth Bank’s middle‑market and commercial relationship managers, as well as current and prospective clients. Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or related field, preferred.
  • Seven (7) years of demonstrated success selling equipment lease and loan products, preferred.
  • Demonstrated capability managing a large territory with multiple banking partners.
  • Excellent verbal and email communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM software and prospecting databases preferred.
  • Demonstrated strength in building and maintaining prospective and existing OEM, dealer, and customer relationships.
  • Understanding of lease and loan structures, contracts, and concepts as well as the ability to price transactions to meet client needs within the risk/reward expectations of the company.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
  • Effective problem‑solving and analytical skills, with ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks required, along with initiative and ability to work independently.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel are required.
  • This position may be eligible for telecommuting.
