Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Colorado Springs seeks a Senior Equipment Engineer to lead the acquisition, design, and qualification of manufacturing equipment for Microcontamination Control.

This role partners across Facilities, R&D, Quality, and Operations to deploy assets that increase capacity and improve safety. The ideal candidate has 5–8+ years in manufacturing engineering, with hands-on experience in automation, PLCs (Allen-Bradley/Mitsubishi/Keyence), CAD tools, and P&IDs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
• 5–8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience designing and procuring equipment and automation systems.
• Experience with PLCs and control systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in clean room environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment specification, design review, FAT, and commissioning.
• Manage vendor selection, procurement, and validation activities.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Collaborate with Facilities, R&D, Maintenance, and Quality.
• Create PM programs and spare parts inventories.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
