Entegris, Inc. is seeking a Principal Field Applications Engineer to serve as a senior technical authority for microcontamination control solutions. The role leads advanced customer engagements, shapes product roadmaps, and mentors junior engineers across regions.

The position requires deep expertise in gas purification, filtration, and airborne molecular contamination technologies, with emphasis on strategic collaboration with R&D, Product Management and Marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Experience in field applications engineering or technical support within high-tech or semiconductor industries.
• Proven track record of leading complex technical engagements and influencing product development.
• Experience with gas microcontamination control technologies, including purification and filtration systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for key global accounts and deliver tailored solutions.
• Lead high-level technical reviews, customer workshops, and strategic discussions.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and Marketing to influence product roadmaps.
• Develop and implement advanced application strategies to support new technology adoption.
• Provide expert-level training to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Author and present technical papers at industry conferences.
• Mentor and coach Field Application Engineers to build depth and engagement skills.
• Drive continuous improvement and share best practices across regions.
