Job summary

Nammo Energetics in Perry, FL is seeking a Mechanical Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to design, build, and improve automated production equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, fixtures, and tooling. This on-site role requires some travel and hands-on leadership in projects to meet production and safety standards.

You will plan and execute equipment projects, evaluate existing systems for yield improvement, and collaborate across teams to procure new equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Advanced 3D design capability is essential.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated assembly machines.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics systems and schematics.
• Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings.
• Ability to follow projects through to completion and read PLC code.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute projects for production equipment design and fabrication.
• Evaluate mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems for yield and throughput improvements.
• Develop fixtures and machines per customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Process, and other teams to obtain requirements for procurement of new equipment.
• Ensure system and product quality by confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
• Maintain equipment by coordinating maintenance and repairs per guidelines.
