Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5+ years of experience (or 15 years equivalent) and proven ability to develop automated assemblies, fixtures, and tooling while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent with 5 years of experience or 15 years equivalent experience.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated assembly machines.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics drawings and schematics.
• Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical and pneumatic drawings.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute projects to design and fabricate production equipment (automated and semi-automated).
• Evaluate existing systems for yield and throughput improvements.
• Develop fixtures and machines meeting customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Quality and Process Engineers to write scopes for new equipment procurement.
• Ensure fabrication and installation meet quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with vendors through design, fabrication, and setup phases.
• Assist maintenance with troubleshooting and repairs.
