Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical equipment design, manufacturing engineering, or automation systems.
• Experience designing production equipment, fixtures, tooling, or automated machinery.
• Strong 3D CAD design capability.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings and schematics.
• Experience managing projects from concept through implementation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve automated and semi-automated production equipment.
• Lead equipment projects from concept through installation and startup.
• Coordinate with machine vendors and fabrication partners; define technical scopes and equipment specs.
• Evaluate equipment performance, throughput, reliability, and yield; drive improvements.
• Support facility growth for a new solid rocket motor production facility targeted for initial production in 2027.
