Job summary

Nammo Energetics Inc. is building a new solid rocket motor manufacturing facility in Perry, Florida. We are seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to develop and support automation systems powering our manufacturing operations.

You will program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC-controlled equipment and assist with HMI development and machine integration. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, 3+ years in industrial automation, and the ability to obtain

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) required.
3+ years of experience in industrial automation or manufacturing controls.
Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment.
In-depth understanding of electrical schematics, control panels and industrial automation systems.
Experience with PLCs and HMIs.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to manage projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Develop & Support Automation Systems for new facility.
Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.
Support automated and semi-automated production systems.
Assist with HMI development, machine integration, and controls troubleshooting.
Drive equipment and process improvements for reliability and efficiency.
Support commissioning, startup, and validation of new equipment.
Collaborate with Mechanical, Manufacturing, Process, and Quality Engineering teams.
Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for controls issues.
Support long-term automation scalability and operational excellence initiatives.
