Job summary

UTHealth Houston is seeking an experienced Senior Equal Opportunity Advisor to lead investigations and advise on Title IX, Title VII, ADA, and related compliance matters. This role partners with HR and leadership to ensure alignment with federal and state requirements and university policies.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, discretion, and the ability to manage sensitive issues with empathy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Master's Degree in a relevant discipline preferred; Doctorate in a related field may be considered
• 7+ years related experience required; experience in Title IX/Title VII investigations preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and investigate complaints under Title IX, Title VII, the ADA, and applicable laws; write reports per policy
• Facilitate and document interactive processes for accommodations and requests
• Provide guidance on university policies; maintain confidentiality at all times
• Stay current on state/federal laws; recommend policy updates for compliance
• Create and deliver trainings across the university community
• Collaborate with HR and management to ensure regulatory compliance; build relationships
• Assist in developing annual affirmative action plans; assess program effectiveness
• Develop and implement metrics to measure strategic impact
• Perform other duties as assigned
