Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking an Employment Special Counsel (EPLI) to join its Labor & Employment Practice Group in a fully remote, full-time capacity. The role focuses on EPLI matters, handling complex employment litigation across jurisdictions and collaborating with a national team.

Ideal candidates hold a JD from a top-tier law school, active Bar Admission in their state of residence, 8+ years of EPLI-focused litigation experience, and strong written and oral advocacy.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in state of residence, in good standing.
• 8+ years of substantive in employment litigation, with a strong emphasis on EPLI matters.
• Experience handling employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and wrongful termination matters.
• Proven ability to manage EPLI cases from inception through resolution.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong advocacy and client-facing capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating effectively with a national team.
• Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when handling highly sensitive and confidential matters.
• Proven expertise in and openness to utilizing AI-driven and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Handle a full caseload of EPLI matters, including litigation, mediation, and pre-litigation counseling.
• Represent insureds and insurers in employment-related disputes across state and federal forums.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement documentation with a high level of precision and strategic insight.
• Advise clients on employment law risk management and litigation strategy.
• Collaborate with attorneys and firm professionals nationwide on complex employment matters.
• Maintain strict compliance with ethical obligations and firm policies regarding confidentiality and sensitive information.
