Job summary

Ideal candidates have JD and state licensure, 5+ years of legal or claims experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and JD required.
• Active license to practice law in the jurisdiction of work.
• 5+ years of relevant legal or claims experience.
• Strong negotiation, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, investigate, and resolve BSI claims with moderate supervision.
• Prepare management reports on loss development, exposure, and reserve changes.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and manage litigation plans and budgets.
• Assist underwriting on significant claim exposures and risk mitigation.
• Develop coverage opinions with applicable case law.
