Job summary

Raxium, a Google subsidiary in Fremont, CA, is seeking a Senior Staff Epitaxy Process Engineer to own growth processes for our microLED technology at scale. You will ensure stable, repeatable epitaxy methods for high-volume manufacturing within a collaborative team environment.

The role requires extensive hands-on experience in epitaxial growth, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to drive process improvements and scale production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, or related field.
• 6 years of experience working in epitaxial growth.
• 5 years of experience in technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive solutions for meeting production demands of epitaxy processes at volume manufacturing scale.
• Develop strategies for effective systems and methodologies enabling improved process stability and yield improvement; bring up and qualify new tool suites.
• Collaborate with Operations to drive improved cycle times and process stability addressing throughput.
• Work with software, Epi operations and Epi engineering on SPC and process monitoring to maximize productivity.
• Drive resolution of complex materials and device issues as part of cross-functional teams.
