Job summary

Google's Raxium display group is seeking a highly-skilled Epitaxy (Epi) Process Engineer to own growth processes for our microLED technology at scale. This onsite Fremont, CA role requires collaboration with Epi, Equipment Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure robust process methodology and volume manufacturing readiness.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, cross-functional teamwork, and technical leadership to drive yield and capacity improvements as the project moves toward production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience working in epitaxial growth.
  • 5 years of experience in technical leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Drive solutions for meeting production demands of epitaxy processes at volume manufacturing scale.
  • Develop strategies for effective systems and methodologies enabling improved process stability and control for yield improvement.
  • Bring up and qualify new suite of tools for increasing capacity.
  • Provide capabilities and collaborate closely with Operation teams to drive improved cycle times and process stability.
