Job summary

Google Raxium seeks a Test Engineer focused on MicroLED display manufacturing to qualify, deploy, and support test systems for microLED displays. You will validate testing capabilities, optimize test time, and expand capacity while reducing production costs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive scalable testing solutions and improve yield through automated data pipelines and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/CE/CS/Physics or equivalent.
• 4 years in optoelectronics test or related manufacturing environment.
• 4 years deploying, validating, and debugging semiconductor hardware test systems.
• 4 years writing and debugging test system software.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Test Development team to lead production-scale release of new high-speed optical, electrical test systems by verifying system performance and debugging complex interactions (hardware, software, optics).
• Collaborate with engineering team to design and implement automated pipelines for Gauge R&R, software deployment, test operations and production system health monitoring.
• Define and execute the strategy for scaling test capacity to off-shore Contract Manufacturers, overseeing deployment of test capacity and establishing protocols for remote fleet management.
• Work cross-functionally to professionalize hardware integration, extended workforce hardware builds to external vendors and creating documentation to ensure consistent replication of test systems.
• Serve as technical lead for rapid-response production support, troubleshooting complex yield limiters, providing on-call support during critical production ramps (including nights, weekends based on production schedules).
