Senior EPIC Training Lead for EHR Implementations

Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced trainer for AltaMed systems and applications. You will train clinicians and staff on Epic and other core software, keeping curricula current with upgrades and supporting go-live efforts.

Responsibilities include developing materials, leading task forces, and providing onsite support across clinics, with a strong focus on adult learning principles and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive EHR implementation experience in a large healthcare org.
• Minimum of 2 years in performance improvement or program management.
• Experience supporting EPIC training and certification programs.
• EPIC credentialed in at least 3 applications.
• 2+ years of technical training with Epic to clinical staff.
• 2+ years in education, organizational development, or training roles.
• Experience maintaining relationships with internal personnel and stakeholders.
• Experience supporting EPIC training at go-live milestones.
• Healthcare environment experience with clinical and business system apps, training.
• Cross-functional coordination or program/project management preferred.
• Experience in instruction at traditional or adult education levels preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train end users on AltaMed technical and clinical systems and applications.
• Validate and train workflows for AltaMed staff on new or updated core software products.
• Train staff using standardized training materials.
• Work with the PT on special projects or assignments.
• Keep curriculum current with software upgrades and builds.
• Serve as a primary credentialed trainer during clinical system implementations.
• Complete assigned tasks within the implementation project scope.
• Support end users one-to-one in clinics or other healthcare environments.
• Assist with Tip Sheet development.
• Lead designated task forces: strategy outlines, delegation, milestones, and lessons learned.
• Serve as rounding lead over a territory of clinics or one clinic for onsite support.
