Job summary

Children’s National Medical Center is seeking a Senior Technology Trainer in Silver Spring, MD to partner with clinical, operational, revenue cycle, and IS stakeholders. You will design and deliver an enterprise technology training program and help implement a continuous learning model for Epic EHR and related applications to improve patient care and workflow.

The role reports to the Manager of Technology Training and Adoption and requires Epic certification within 6 weeks of training

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in health care, education, information technology, or related field.
Master’s degree is advantageous.
Five years of clinical, operational, revenue cycle, technical, and/or training experience with health information technology, including electronic health records and other clinical or practice management applications.
Three years of experience in staff onboarding, adult education, curriculum development, instructional design, and/or training delivery, preferably in a health care setting.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver enterprise technology training across clinical, operational, and administrative areas.
Collaborate with IS and department leaders to align training with organizational goals.
Coordinate training logistics and execution for system go-lives and upgrades.
Maintain and update training materials and support end-user adoption.
