Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer – Ambulatory to lead Epic-based development and change initiatives. You will architect, configure, and support Epic environments, translating clinical requirements into technical specifications and ensuring quality throughout the lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have five years of Epic experience, EpicCare Ambulatory certification, and strong collaboration across clinical, IT, and vendor teams to deliver scalable health IT

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience is required.
• EpicCare Ambulatory certification is required.
• Experience configuring, designing, and supporting an Epic solution.
• Experience in test planning and execution and meeting project quality requirements.
• Strong knowledge of clinical applications and the healthcare IT industry.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Epic environments.
• Lead discovery calls and provide Level of Effort estimates.
• Facilitate design sessions with business leaders and analysts.
• Translate requirements and workflows to technical specifications.
• Lead documentation efforts for discovery and implementation.
• Ensure requirements and future state workflows are clearly defined.
• Collaborate with project managers to identify tasks and estimates.
