CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer – Ambulatory to lead Epic-based design, configuration and testing efforts in a fast‑growing healthcare IT environment. You will drive discovery, capture requirements and translate workflows into technical specifications for inpatient and ambulatory care use.

This role collaborates with business leaders, project managers, and IT resources to deliver scalable solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong experience configuring, designing, and supporting an Epic solution.
• Experience in test planning & execution, test case development, and meeting project quality requirements.
• Experience working on large projects with healthcare IT systems.
• Understanding of configurable applications and monitoring practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Epic environments.
• Lead discovery calls and provide level of effort estimates.
• Facilitate design sessions with business leaders and analysts.
• Document business and technical requirements and translate workflows to specs.
• Lead documentation for discovery and implementation.
• Ensure future state workflows are clearly defined.
• Collaborate with project managers to identify tasks and estimates.
