Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Senior Research Applications Analyst to support Epic Research and related digital research solutions for the research community. You will lead analysis, design, configuration, testing, and ongoing support, partnering with investigators and clinical teams to translate needs into effective technical workflows.

The role requires extensive experience with Epic Research, healthcare IT, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Research, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in development, support, or operation of software applications, information technology, clinical research operations, Epic applications, or related areas.
• Epic Research certification preferred or ability to obtain certification within six months of hire.
• Experience in healthcare, academic medical center, or clinical research environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior SME for Epic Research functionality and related research applications and workflows.
• Partner with investigators, coordinators, clinical teams, and stakeholders to understand research technology needs and translate them into solutions.
• Lead analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of research-related workflows and applications.
• Lead complex projects from requirements through implementation and post-production support.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate resolution of complex application, workflow, integration, and user issues with Digital teams and vendors.
• Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, training materials, FAQs, and resources for the research community.
