Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in IT, health informatics, CS, healthcare administration, clinical research, or related field.
• 5+ years in development, support, or operation of software apps, IT, clinical research ops, Epic apps, or related areas, preferably in healthcare.
• Epic Research certification preferred or obtainable within six months of hire.
• Experience in healthcare academic medical center or clinical research environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior subject matter resource for Epic Research functionality and related research applications.
• Partner with investigators, research coordinators, clinical teams, and stakeholders to translate needs into solutions.
• Lead analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, optimization and support of research workflows.
• Lead complex projects from requirements through post-production support.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate resolution of complex application, workflow, and integration issues with Digital teams and vendors.
• Evaluate workflows and recommend efficiency, usability, standardization improvements.
• Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, training materials, FAQs, and resources.
• Develop and deliver education and training to research users and internal teams.
• Support Digital Research initiatives, including Epic Research and COSMOS, collaborating across teams.
• Provide mentorship to junior analysts and contribute to team standards.
