The Wilshire Group is seeking a Senior Patient Access Analyst/Project Manager for a remote contract opportunity in Texas or elsewhere in the U.S. The role focuses on leading Epic Patient Access projects and driving enterprise-wide healthcare IT transformations.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams and manage complex implementations with strong PM practices. Ideal candidates hold Epic Cadence/Prelude/Referrals certifications, PMP or equivalent, and 10+ years of healthcare IT PM experience,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in healthcare IT, Patient Access, or revenue cycle operations.
• Active Epic certifications in Cadence, Prelude, and/or Referrals.
• Experience leading large-scale healthcare projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of patient registration, scheduling, referrals, and related workflows.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate large Epic Patient Access projects, including scheduling, registration, and referrals.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans with timelines and milestones.
• Collaborate with IT, clinical, operational, revenue cycle, and executive stakeholders.
• Provide SME in Epic Cadence, Prelude, and/or Referrals applications.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications; provide status reporting.
• Oversee readiness, testing, go-live activities, and post-implementation stabilization.
• Support enterprise change management and adoption of new workflows.
