The Wilshire Group is seeking an experienced Senior Patient Access Analyst/Project Manager for a remote contract opportunity in the U.S. Texas-based or other states can be considered.

The role focuses on leading Epic Patient Access projects and driving enterprise-wide healthcare technology transformations. The ideal candidate brings deep Epic Cadence/Prelude/Referrals experience, strong PM skills, and a proven track record delivering large-scale healthcare initiatives while balancing competing

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in healthcare IT or revenue cycle.
• Active Epic certification in Cadence, Prelude, and/or Referrals.
• Experience leading large-scale, complex healthcare projects.
• Strong knowledge of patient registration, scheduling, referrals, and related workflows.
• Experience with Epic implementations, optimization projects, upgrades, or enterprise transformation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent communication, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 25%.
• Must be available to work Central Time business hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate large-scale Epic Patient Access projects, including scheduling, registration, and referral initiatives.
• Develop and execute project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with IT, clinical, operational, revenue cycle, and executives for alignment.
• Provide SME in Epic Cadence, Prelude, and/or Referrals applications.
• Evaluate current-state workflows and support future-state development.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, resources, issues, and communications.
• Oversee readiness, testing, go-live activities, and post-implementation stabilization.
• Facilitate meetings, monitor progress, and deliver status reports to leadership.
• Support enterprise-level change management and adoption of new workflows.
