Job summary

Vitruvian Health is actively seeking an Epic Analyst to develop, test, maintain and deploy Epic HIM applications. You will establish standard architectures and collaborate with clinical and IT teams to ensure smooth operation and optimization of hospital information systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems / Clinical Informatics or 4 years of healthcare IT experience, and Epic certification is preferred with a 45-day target to obtain certification if hired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Information Systems / Clinical Informatics or 4 years IT healthcare experience.
• Credentials in clinical practice or health information technologies required.
• Epic Certification preferred; must attain within first 45 days of HHCS-sponsored Epic training to continue employment.
• 2+ years within information technology; minimum 1+ year hospital/health care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides high level customer service and department service including Epic HIM, Identity, ROI and related applications.
• Assists physicians and other clinical end users to improve efficiency, workflow, and patient care through effective use of information systems.
• Collaborates across departments to drive value, reduce risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory needs.
• Leads and participates in projects to improve informatics workflows and implement system changes.
• Maintains competency and participates in ongoing education to stay current with clinical informatics standards.
