Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking an experienced Epic professional to lead the identification and implementation of optimal technical solutions for complex business challenges across systems. You will manage work plans for upgrades, oversee configuration and maintenance, and analyze workflows to improve processes and reduce risks.

This role emphasizes detailed specs, advanced testing, and adherence to tech standards.

Qualifications

4 years Direct Epic build, implementation and support experience.
7 years Progressive experience in Information Services or healthcare.
Epic PB Administration, Epic PB Claims, Epic HB Administration, or Epic HB Claims Certification.
Large-scale implementation/upgrades and test plan development.
Integrated systems architecture planning, development and implementation.
Strong communication and project management skills.
EPIC Certification plus one additional Primary or Secondary EPIC Certification.

Responsibilities

Leads efforts to identify optimal technical solutions and ensures system integration.
Develops and manages work plans for analysis and testing of system upgrades.
Oversees configuration, implementation and maintenance across environments.
Analyzes workflows to improve processes and resolve operational issues.
Authors detailed specifications and documentation.
Designs and executes advanced test scenarios to validate performance.
Contributes to technology standards and best practices.
Provides input on resource estimation and ensures timely delivery.
Triages on-call/DR/BC and manages project risks.
