AdventHealth in Florida seeks an Epic Analyst to optimize clinical workflows within Epic and related systems. The role involves configuring Epic modules, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with stakeholders across departments to ensure successful software deployments.

The ideal candidate will hold Epic Certification (or complete within 3 months of training), demonstrate strong Microsoft skills, and excel in analytical problem-solving with clear communication.

Responsabilidades

• Assess workflow processes, identify gaps, define changes, and develop future workflows.
• Design, build, and configure Epic modules and supporting apps, maintain process docs.
• Lead in developing electronic documentation for clinical workflow.
• Capture business and technical requirements with stakeholders.
• Develop test scripts and perform end-to-end testing and document results.
• Stay current on Epic updates and ensure proper function after upgrades.
• Follow change control and QA standards; document upgrades and training.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate for resolution; participate in multiple projects.
• Provide guidance to analysts, PMs, and consultants; report status and blockers.
• Remote work with 0–25% travel; travel may be required.

Job Description

• Assesses workflow processes, identifies gaps, defines necessary process changes, and develops future workflows related to new solutions or functionality.
• Designs, builds, and configures within assigned Epic system modules and supporting third-party applications, developing and maintaining system process documentation.
• Demonstrates advanced functional knowledge of Epic, applicable third-party solutions, and the Microsoft suite of products.
• Serves as a lead member of the team dedicated to developing electronic documentation solutions that support clinical workflow and practice.
• Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with all stakeholders, capturing business and technical requirements.
• Develops test scripts and materials for end-to-end workflow testing, performs unit, system, and integration testing, and documents outcomes.
• Remains current on industry trends and vendor/application/system updates, ensuring software modifications/upgrades function according to Epic specifications.
• Follows departmental standards for software configuration control, quality assurance, and version releases, providing documentation and training on system upgrades and new releases.
• Troubleshoots issues or system deficiencies, initiates escalation procedures, and provides recommendations for resolution.
• Participates in multiple cross-functional projects, utilizing project planning and coordination methodologies, tools, and lean methodologies.
• Provides guidance and acts as a resource for other analysts, project managers, and consultants.
• Actively participates in project, team, departmental, and other meetings, reporting status updates, accomplishments, tasks, and barriers to the manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Remote with 0-25% travel possible travel.
• Epic certification required (any application), 3rd party integration desired.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Epic Certification or ability to complete certification within 3 months of completing classes [Required]
• Advanced of Microsoft suite of products [Required]

Education

• Associate college degree (as, diploma, b.a., b.s.) [Preferred]
• Associate in a field of study such as business, is, or a healthcare related [Required]

Field Of Study

• Yearly participation in ongoing education either formal or through conferences, active professional organization participation, or journal presentations

Work Experience

• 5+ years of clinical or technical background [Preferred]
• EMR application/implementation experience [Preferred]
• Extensive experience communicating complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience [Required]

Additional Information

An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree requirement:

• Associates degree OR
• High School Grad or Equivalent and 2+ years of experience.
• Yearly participation in ongoing education either formal or through conferences, active professional organization participation, or journal presentations [Required]
