Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a skilled IT professional to support Epic-based systems and clinical services. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and about 5 years of IT or clinical experience focusing on requirements gathering, analysis, and testing.

You will bridge business needs with IT capabilities, contributing to system design and implementation. Responsibilities include coordinating multi-project efforts, interfacing with Epic and third-party applications, and ensuring

Qualifications

EPIC certification within 6 months and ongoing maintenance requirements.
Bachelor's degree in CS or related field is required.
Typically 5 years in IT or clinical environment with mapping, analysis, requirements, testing and documentation.
Proficient in EPIC and other applications and able to translate user needs into system specifications.

Responsibilities

Designs/moderate to complex solutions by gathering data, evaluating systems, and coordinating new functionality.
Assist with multi-project planning, conversions, and training as needed.
Identify cross-application impacts (Epic and 3rd party) and propose solutions.
Operate as IT advisor, evaluating vendor offerings and maintaining data integrity.
Communicate effectively with users and teams about requirements, changes, and training.
Coordinate system development, testing, and documentation to ensure high availability and data integrity.
