Job summary

SOLAR Energy? SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Scheduler to lead the creation and maintenance of integrated EPC schedules, coordinating with engineering, procurement and field teams. The role involves mentoring junior schedulers and visiting job sites, with a remote work setup and periodic travel to the South Central and Midwest regions.

Emphasis on CPM scheduling best practices and timely updates. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Engineering/Construction Management or Architecture, 5+

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years construction scheduling experience.
• Prior Scheduling experience in an EPC environment is required.
• High proficiency and experience using P6 Software required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor assigned schedulers, supporting their personal and career development.
• Contribute to training curriculum development for company-wide schedule management.
• Participate in company onboarding to align with project controls objectives.
• Develop and maintain realistic EPC project schedules using P6 software.
• Analyze project documents (drawings, contracts) to form the basis of EPC schedules.
• Perform quantity take-offs to establish accurate activity durations.
• Consult with internal teams for feedback and buy-in.
• Attend project meetings to gather updates and address schedule issues.
• Update schedules bi-monthly with actuals and critical path monitoring.
• Lead internal and external meetings and analyze all scopes for schedule mitigation.
• Maintain delay logs and contract information, including LD exposure with custom P6 reports.
