Job summary

SOLV Energy in the United States is seeking a Senior Scheduler to develop and maintain integrated EPC schedules from preconstruction through execution. You will lead schedulers, coordinate with engineering, procurement, PM, field teams, and ensure schedules follow CPM best practices while traveling to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years construction scheduling experience.
• Prior EPC scheduling experience required.
• High proficiency with Primavera P6 software.
• Strong ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods and CPM scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including business writing skills, and professional telephone manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor schedulers; support their development.
• Develop and maintain EPC project schedules using P6.
• Analyze drawings and contracts to form the basis of EPC schedules.
• Perform quantity take-offs to establish durations.
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, project management, field).
• Seek feedback from owners/consultants to improve schedule accuracy.
• Ensure schedules adhere to CPM best practices with sound logic.
• Attend weekly coordination meetings to gather updates and address issues.
• Update schedules bi-monthly with actuals and critical path changes.
• Propose corrective actions to project teams based on analysis.
• Communicate schedule updates to project teams and the scheduling manager.
• Lead internal and external meetings for schedule mitigation.
• Maintain delay logs and LD exposure with P6 reports.
• Monitor progress using company software and verify against updates.
• Maintain weekly regional project status reports.
