Job summary

Ampirical is seeking a Project Scheduler in Covington, Louisiana. You will develop, maintain, and communicate resource-loaded schedules across diverse EPC projects, support proposals, and help evolve scheduling processes to improve project performance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in EPC scheduling, with strong Primavera P6 and Excel skills. Utilities experience is highly valued, and on-site collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred with 5+ years of experience in planning/scheduling for EPC projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel; PMI Scheduling Professional certification preferred.
• Utilities industry experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, monitor, and update integrated project schedules to ensure efficiency in both time and cost.
• Prepare baseline schedules for project team approval and ensure they are regularly reviewed and updated.
• Monitor critical path activities, report deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze schedules from multiple sources to ensure project integrity and make sure all sequences are optimized for constructability.
• Lead project scheduling meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure schedules meet company standards and client needs.Document project “lessons learned” to enhance future scheduling efficiency.
