Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with heavy industrial power plant experience to lead projects from definition through closeout.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, change management, client communications, and coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure profitability and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with project management methodology including budgets, schedules and control processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for client interaction.
• Ability to mentor junior Project Managers.
• Familiarity with construction documents and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Create project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives.
• Prepare statements of work and work breakdown structures for approvals.
• Manage project costs and profitability responsibilities.
• Prepare and review client billings and vendor invoices for timely payments.
• Monitor project status, risks, and changes; escalate when needed.
• Coordinate submittals with agencies and review contract documents.
• Lead meetings with stakeholders and provide guidance to engineering teams.
• Assist with drawings reviews and problem resolution.
