Job summary

Audubon seeks a Senior Project Manager-EPC to lead full scope engineering, procurement and construction projects in Houston. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, quality and HSE performance, coordinating with clients, contractors and vendors to deliver projects from initiation through commissioning.

The role requires 7+ years in project management/engineering within energy, with strong leadership, scheduling and cost-control capabilities.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree AND 10 years of relative experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of relative experience.
• BS Engineering, MBA, PMP, PE License preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of industry related experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
• 10 years as Lead Engineer on large multi-discipline projects or as Project Engineer/Manager.
• Working knowledge of scheduling techniques and software.
• Knowledgeable in cost estimating and control.
• Able to speak in group settings.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary interface between the project team and the client representative.
• Creates, executes and revises project execution plans to meet client requirements and project metrics.
• Identifies resources needed and manages team responsibilities.
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects.
• Ensures all deliverables are reviewed, approved and signed off prior to issue to the client.
• Ensures the project team follows Audubon standards and procedures.
• Review and report discrepancies on a weekly basis.
• Review and approve invoices within 48hr turnaround.
• Maintain resource planning on assigned projects.
• Manage project budget and schedule.
• Remain accessible to clients as single point of contact.
• Organize and direct Project Management Team of other PMs and/or PEs.
• Drive Management of Change and enforce procedures.
• Champions safety and quality on the project.
• Review and approve subcontractors’ contracts and invoices.
• Manage overall execution of projects.
• Participate as a contributing member of Functional Group or Execution Center.
• Understand sales/BD process and multi-disciplinary deliverables.
