You will be accountable for project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and HSE performance, coordinating with clients, contractors, and vendors while leading multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree + 10 years of relative experience, or Bachelor's + 7 years of relative experience.
  • BS Engineering, MBA, PMP, PE license preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years in industry-related experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
  • 10 years lead engineer on large multi-discipline projects preferred.
  • Familiarity with scheduling techniques and cost estimating.

Responsibilities

  • Interface between the project team and the client representative; PM is the face of Audubon to the client.
  • Creates, executes and revises project execution plans as required to meet client requirements and project metrics.
  • Identifies resources needed and manages team responsibilities.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects.
  • Ensures all deliverables have been reviewed, approved and signed off prior to issue to the client.
  • Ensures the project team follows Audubon standards and procedures.

Audubon is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager-EPC to join our team in our Houston Energy Corridor office. The Senior Project Manager will lead the full scope of engineering, procurement, and construction projects from initiation through commissioning. The Senior Project Manager will be accountable for project scope, schedule, budget, quality and HSE performance, managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with clients, contractors and vendors.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Acts as the primary interface between the project team and the client representative. The PM is the face of Audubon to the client.
  • Creates, executes and revises project execution plans as required to meet client requirements and project metrics.
  • Identifies resources needed and manages team responsibilities.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects.
  • Ensures that all deliverables have been reviewed, approved and signed off prior to issue to the client.
  • Ensures the project team follows the Audubon standards and procedures.
  • Responsible for reviewing project transactions and reporting any discrepancies on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for review and approval of invoices within a 48hr turnaround.
  • Responsible for maintaining the resource planning on assigned projects
  • Manages the project budget and schedule.
  • Remains completely accessible to clients during the life of project and provides single point of contact, ensuring specific requests are processed timely and appropriately.
  • Organizes and directs a Project Management Team of other Project Managers and/or Project Engineers.
  • Drives Management of Change philosophy and enforces corresponding procedures.
  • Serves as the champion for safety and quality on the project.
  • Reviews and provides final Audubon approval for all subcontractors' contracts and invoices.
  • Manages the overall execution of projects.
  • Participates as a contributing member of assigned Functional Group or Execution Center.
  • Possess a detailed understanding of the sales / BD process.
  • Understands the relationship between multi-disciplined deliverable packages - including procurement and construction activities.
  • Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions.
  • Effectively utilizes each team member to their fullest potential.
  • Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner.
  • Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members and peers.
  • Mitigates team conflict and communication problems.
  • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
  • Leads and/or act as a member of internal teams/task forces.
  • Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, efficiency, and utilization.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • Education Required: Minimum of an Associate's Degree AND 10 years of Relative Experience, or Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of Relative Experience.
  • Education/Licensure Preferred: BS Engineering, MBA, Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Engineer (PE) License
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 7 years of industry related experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager
  • Experience Preferred: 10 years of experience as the Lead Engineer on large multi-discipline projects, Project Engineer and/or Project Manager.
  • Working knowledge of scheduling techniques and software.
  • Knowledgeable in cost estimating and control.
  • Able to speak comfortably in a group setting.
  • Understanding of all applicable discipline deliverables. Financial Management
  • Understands complex revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly.
  • Understands our pricing model and billing procedures.
  • Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization.
