Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC, a Quanta Services company, is seeking an Assistant EPC Project Manager in the United States to support engineering oversight and coordination for EPC projects.

This role focuses on assisting the Lead EPC PM with procurement, planning, scheduling, and interfacing with design engineers and customers. You will help ensure on-time delivery within budget while meeting regulatory requirements, and participate in business development meetings with utilities and owners to discuss

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in engineering, project management, construction management, business administration or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing EPC/utility-scale construction projects is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead EPC Project Manager to support engineering oversight and coordination with engineering service partners.
• Assist with equipment procurement, construction planning and mobilization to construction milestones.
• Coordinate with 3rd party design engineers and customers to meet contracting requirements, budgets, forecasts, and schedules.
• Support Owner/Client on project planning and scheduling, assessing issues and identifying solutions.
• Assist in business development meetings with Utilities, Clients and Owners regarding design requirements and bid processes.
